The
CD included in the Kit provides resources for the developer to initiate
the studies and the creation of firmware and applications for the eAT55
module.
The
preparation for use of the Kit is extremely simple. Only connect to the
power adaptor and connect the parallel cable to the corresponding port
of the PC that will be used as a development station. The parallel port
of the eAT55 module permits access to the JTAG interface of the processor,
thereby enabling firmware and applications to be saved in Flash memory
via the PC.
The
CD that comes with the Kit includes the following software and files:
- Two development environments for ARM:
- An
evaluation version (limited to 32 KBytes of generated code) of the
EWARM development environment produced by IAR Systems
- A copy
of the GCC/Insight (GNU) development environment available on the
Internet under license of the Free Software Foundation
- Processor
and module component datasheets
- Programming experiments
- eAT55
